This initiative, supported by New York Medicaid, is designed to hand you the complete control of your home care experience.
Moreover, the chosen caregiver, referred to as a Personal Assistant (PA), can be someone you know such as a family member, friend, or neighbor who understands your needs. This setup ensures that the care provided is not only professional but also filled with the warmth and familiarity that only a loved one can offer.
Under CDPAP, the caregiver you select will be paid for their dedicated service, highlighting the value of personalized care in the comfort of your home, as facilitated by BNV Homecare Agency.
CDPAP Eligibility
You are eligible for the CDPAP Program as long as you
Live in New York State
Are eligible for New York State Medicaid*
Have a stable medical condition and be capable of self-direction.
Require assistance with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
Your friend, family member, neighbor is eligible for CDPAP as long as they are
Excluding your spouse, your parent if you are under 21, or your appointed representative.
Legal to work in the US.
