The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) enables adults and children with developmental disabilities to live in the community. OPWDD is responsible for coordinating services for New Yorkers with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, Prader-Willi syndrome, and other neurological impairments. Individuals with Special Needs provide services directly through agencies such as BNV Homecare Agency.

BNV Homecare Agency is a trusted provider of comprehensive homecare services for children with special needs. BNV employs multilingual staff as the communication between BNV Homecare Agency and the client’s family is the most important task in order to understand each other and respect the customs of all cultures.
